I get a real rush when I am out working on my Exploring The Region posts. Taking pictures. Walking the grounds.
Something about it is so enjoyable and relaxing. Being completely in the moment. It feels like time slows down.
When I visit the historical sites of northwest Indiana, walking where others walked hundreds of years ago I get a strange, yet peaceful feeling.
It is eery as well, but peaceful. I think it’s because I’ve been yearning for an adventure and creating these posts is the smallest way for me to find it. Having mini adventures around the region brings an unexplainable joy.
If you’ve read my Today I Noticed posts before, you know I write down small things I notice about myself or the world around me while I am in the moment.
