Hi, happy Friday – eve! I hope all of my readers have had a great week.
I’m looking forward to the weekend. This week of work has been draining. I’ve been catching myself falling sleep on the train into Chicago and at my desk at times. I don’t know if it’s because it’s been raining a lot and very gloomy outside, or if it’s because my body is just exhausted. Either way, it’s not good!
I’ve been working hard trying to set up more interviews. I think it’s going well and hopefully I will have a couple new ones to upload soon! I’ve also been looking for places to continue my Exploring the Region series (where I show you cool and interesting places in the region that I visit). I have a few places in mind and I hope to go visit them soon.
Other than that there hasn’t been a lot going on here. The weather’s been so back and forth so we can’t really plan any outside adventures. However, a few days ago it was nice enough to get Baby O’s little blue car out and push him up and down the street. It was a nice little walk we had as a family. He LOVED it. He was clapping and laughing and loved going up and down the driveway. Then he sat on a blanket in the grass with his mother and played with some toys while I hung up our new American flag. He’s been afraid of grass lately and we don’t know why lol. He won’t touch it! But that’s okay. Soon he’ll be running through it and dragging a bunch of it through the house (lucky us!).
Tomorrow Lea and the baby are going to her parent’s for a day or two to visit. I am staying home this time around. It’ll be nice to have the place to myself – even if it’s only for a night. I’ll have to pay Lea back soon and take Oliver to my mom’s for a night. That way she can get some time off and be alone. Maybe I shouldn’t have written that. Now it’s kind of a commitment right? Ah, well. Now I have to do it. That’s okay, it’s well deserved! She’s the best.
I hope you all finish the week strong and have a great weekend! Hopefully I can get back on here and write something interesting lol.
Peter
