Good morning readers. I’m writing to you from the train as I commute to Chicago for the last time this week. Something happened last night that I wanted to share. Some of my fellow bloggers might understand why I felt the way I did lol.
I almost threw my laptop out of my window last night. That’s what I wanted to share lol. I’ve had this MacBook Air since 2016/2017 and it’s been slowing up on me lately. That’s not why I wanted to break it into a million pieces though.
My birthday is coming up – the big 3-0 – and I have been working on a blog for it for a couple of months now, trying to find the perfect wording and deciding which stories I’m going to tell. Yesterday morning, before I left my house, I worked on it a little bit and I felt really good about it. Like really, really good. My fellow bloggers will understand what I’m talking about.
When you know you have written something so well, to the best of your ability, and you love it. Thats how I felt about this blog I’ve been working on. Well, I saved it, exited out like normal and shut off my laptop. Last night I turned it back on to do a little more work and what happens? IT’S GONE! The whole document is missing. I searched everywhere for it. I was heartbroken because I loved what I had written thus far so much.
I was so upset. I really thought about tossing my laptop (but I’m glad I didn’t). After 20-30 minutes of searching and updating my computer, it finally reappeared out of nowhere. I have no idea what happened but I found it again and I was thrilled. I could go to bed happy.
I tried writing a bit after it reappeared, but I had used all of my remaining energy for the day frantically looking for it. So I decided to call it a night and go to bed.
I’m so happy I found it, and I look forward to sharing it with all of you! I thought if anyone is going to understand what I went through last night it would be my readers and fellow bloggers on WordPress lol.
Have a great day!
Peter
