Hello and welcome back to my DC Comics storyline series! Here you’ll find my opinions on three recent books I’ve read from DC Comics and, hopefully, some suggestions for yourself if you become interested. I love reading these comics. They are so much fun and it’s nice to let my mind wander into a different world for a little bit. Let’s get started!
Today I am only going to talk about two comic storylines since I finished them (and the rest I am reading are ongoing!)
Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons
This series, as you’ve read in my last two comic review posts, is incredible. I have finally finished it and all I can say is wow!
From the huge war the Amazons had with the gods (Zeus, etc.), all the way to the sweet ending that introduces us to our favorite Amazon: Wonder Woman (aka Diana). This series was such a good introduction into the Amazons and how they came to be. Of course I highly recommend it.
Strange Adventures
This series was also really good. I loved all the twists and turns and being introduced into all of these incredible characters that I didn’t even know existed. Mr. Terrific being one of them. Each issue was something new (whether it was boring or entertaining) and it always kept me interested.
There’s a huge revelation towards the end, which leads to a really heartwarming moment. I’m obviously not going to spoil it for my readers, but again, I’ll say to go ahead and read this series for yourself! You won’t regret it.
