Hello, good evening everyone. I hope your weekend went well. Ours was pretty good and, as always, I wanted to share it with you.
It was a busy weekend for us, but it was fun so it’s okay. Friday after work I went for a run, worked out a little bit in the basement (woohoo! Finally). Afterwards, our little family went to my cousins high school graduation party. It was a good time and fun seeing my cousins and some friends. Oliver enjoyed himself. The spoiled little boy was passed around by all his aunts and given so many snuggles and kisses. However, he became over – stimulated after a while with all the talking and loud music. So he threw a little fit and after we fed him it was time to go home. So it was a fun couple of hours, but we had to head home early (which is fine by me lol).
Saturday was our lazy day. I had to work overtime again, but I had the option of working whenever I wanted, so I didn’t do that until around 3 in the afternoon. Lea and I cleaned and took care of baby O. We also watched some TV and then we finally finished writing our thank you cards from Olivers baby shower back in April. We’re so behind! It’s okay though, the cards are going out this week. We just have to stamp! Overall, it was a great Saturday. Very relaxing.
Today we went to a baptism. Our friends were having their daughter baptized and it was really fun! We loved seeing people we haven’t seen in forever, and introducing Oliver to them. Baby O also met his first friend (that was his age and not a family member lol). It was so cute. They were just smiling at each other. Here are some pictures from today. This was at a Greek church in Illinois. It was beautiful!
The first two pictures are at the church. The last one is of our little family at the luncheon! Oliver usually smiles, but he wasn’t in the mood at this time lol.
I hope you all had a great weekend.
Peter
