My favorite Marvel movies (and show)

If you follow along, you know I LOVE DC Comics. I love their comics, I love [most] of their television shows, and I am a fan of their movies. However, I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned (and if I have it’s been brief) that I also enjoy the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). So, today I am going to list my favorite Marvel movies and show (yes…just one show).

These are in no particular order. I enjoy them all the same. I never actually read a Marvel comic, but the movies have been coming out since I was a kid, so I am familiar with what’s been brought to live – action. Okay, let’s begin!

Spider – man 

I enjoy Spider – man. I am pretty sure when it comes to the Marvel comics universe he is my favorite. A goofy and sarcastic teenager with powers from a spider bite – how can you not love him? Lol. I like all the movies that have come out. We have Tobey Maguire and his three movies that came out when I was kid earlier in the 2000’s. Then we have Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider – man, and of course, Tom Holland’s current take on the character.

I enjoy Tobey’s movies, and Tom’s are really, really fun and interesting, but I have to say my favorite Spider – man movies are Andrew Garfield’s. I think he plays both Peter Parker and Spider – man so well, and the story is just great in his movies. Also, it was awesome seeing Andrew and Tobey in Tom Holland’s Spider – man: No way home! 

Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy (GOTG), starring Chris Pratt and many others, is another one of my favorites from Marvel. Now, I haven’t seen the third and final movie in their trilogy yet, so I can’t say for sure which one is my favorite, but I’m serious when I tell you the first two are great! The writing, the acting, and the visual effects make the movies so enjoyable. The actors also have great chemistry with each other, which makes the movies even better. Whenever I see the third GOTG movie, I will let you all know which one I like the most out of the three!

Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame

Of course, I have to throw these two in the mix because they are Marvel movies at their peak. These two were back – to – back and they were both equally incredible. If you haven’t watched these (or any Marvel movie), I suggest going on Disney+ and watching them in “timeline order”. It’s so worth it! Anyways, these two movies are great and I enjoy them every single time I watch them like it’s the first time.

WandaVision

This is the only Marvel/Disney+ television show that I actually enjoyed. The story was so good and a little heartbreaking. It follows the events of Avengers: Endgame and shows you what Wanda Maximoff has been up to throughout the weeks post – Endgame. Elizabeth Olsen plays the Scarlet Witch character so well, she can be frightening at times lol. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it!

Iron Man

No way I was going to forget Iron Man. The first Iron Man movie to be specific. This came out in 2008 and it was fantastic. Robert Downey Jr. crushed this role and he will forever be remembered as Tony Stark/Iron Man. No, he didn’t pass away if that’s what you’re thinking, I am just saying his performance as this character was so good that it will be remembered forever. Seeing a perfect casting always makes me wonder – do the casting directors know they made a perfect casting? I mean, obviously they think they did, but with this one I wonder if they truly knew how legendary it would be. How absolutely perfect RDJ was as Iron Man. I guess it doesn’t matter if they knew or not, it worked out in the best possible way!
