Hello everyone! I hope your week has been going well. Mine’s been alright. Today was my last day (for the week) in Chicago for work, so I’m looking forward to being home for the next several days with baby boy! Today I wanted to rant just a little bit more about the Bulls, so let’s begin and get this over with lol.
First, I took some cool pictures of the views from my office in Chicago today. I thought they were kind of cool and that my readers would enjoy them. I wonder, have any of you ever been to Chicago? It’s such a great a city. Especially in the summer time! Anyways, here are my pics:

Alright, let’s get into this Bulls rant. So, if you did not know, the NBA draft lottery was a few days ago, and the Bulls didn’t have any luck. Quoting K.C. Johnson: “Tuesday’s NBA Draft Lottery didn’t bring luck for the Chicago Bulls, who stayed at No. 11 and ceded their first-round pick to the Orlando Magic as final payment on the Nikola Vucevic trade. Executive vice president Artūras Karnišovas consistently cites the three ways to improve a team—draft, free agency and trades. Currently also without a second-round pick, the Bulls as of now will be sitting out the June 22 NBA Draft. So, now what? How will the Bulls improve?”
So, what you just read there is telling us that the Bulls aren’t going to draft ANYBODY in the next NBA draft. How pathetic. What a sorry excuse for leadership this organization has. If I hear them say “we’re going to run it back with this team again and wait for Lonzo Ball” one more time I am going to scream and pull all my hair out! Actually, considering I am slowly losing my hair, I think I will just stick to screaming.
K.C. Johnson also states, “There’s a chance they can still get in the game for the June draft. The Portland Trail Blazers still owe the Bulls a lottery – protected first – round pick as part of the three – team deal centered on Lauri Markkanen moving to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Derrik Jones Jr. coming to the Bulls.”
So right now we are all bummed that the Bulls aren’t even going to participate in the next draft. However, apparently there is a chance they could end up with the number three pick in the whole thing. What a turn of events that would be lol. I’m not getting my hopes up. Even if they got it they wouldn’t draft anyone useful. And if they did, they wouldn’t play him. The Bulls are horrible at developing their young talent – just ask Dalen Terry. This kid was drafted last year and he barely played this past season. The leaders of this organization and team are a joke. I don’t think they can face the fact that their little experiment did not work. Our only hope is for Zach LaVine to continue playing at an elite level like he did at the end of this current season.
As a die – hard Bulls fan, I try my best to stay positive. That’s why I am hoping that LaVine continues his excellent play. However, being realistic for a moment, I know that one player alone isn’t going to turn this sinking ship around. What are the Bulls going to do? I have no idea. They have no assets. They have no picks in the draft, and they have no plan. The Bulls are in NBA purgatory, and all the fans are there with them.
Jeez that’s a dark way to end this post lol.
I hope you enjoyed my rant! Please share and subscribe.
