Evening thoughts

Good morning, happy Friday! Ugh, last night was tough. That coffee I had kept me up later than usual, so it made waking up at three in the morning harder than it should have been lol. And then someone has been fussy the rest of the morning, so there goes my extra sleep! But that’s okay, I’m awake now lol! 

I wanted to write about something I thought of yesterday. It was just a random thought that popped into my head after posting last night. I thought to myself “I wish I realized I liked writing earlier in my life. I suppose everything happens for a reason, and that there’s a reason I realized my enjoyment for writing later in my life. I wonder if my career would be different. I wonder if I would enjoy writing as much if it was my career.”

I don’t know how to answer these questions I asked myself. There’s no way of knowing what my life would be like or if I would still enjoy writing, but it’s an interesting thought. I am now also wondering “where would I be now if I had studied English/communication (or some type of writing/media field of study) instead of Criminal Justice?” Again, I don’t know, but I can’t help but wonder. 

I guess I’ll never know, but now I have my blog and it satisfies my craving to write lol. 

Well, those were just some thoughts I wanted to share. Currently, Oliver and I are watching Superman (from 1978) with Christopher Reeve. I think this is the second or third time I’ve put it on while I’ve been on leave lol. It’s a fun watch, but the writing is kind of silly. Christopher Reeve is great though! Classic Superman and a legendary performance. From what I’ve heard people say about him, he sounds like he was Superman on and off camera. I hope he is resting peacefully now.

As for the rest of the day, I don’t have much planned. I might go to the range and hit some balls later. It’s supposed to be in the seventies again! I hope this great weather continues.
