Sunday Funday

Hellooo, happy Sunday! I don’t know about wherever my readers are, but it’s fifty – one degrees here and sunny. It’s absolutely beautiful in the region today. I like to call this “fake spring”, and I’m sure any of my readers who live in the Midwest would agree.

We all know its coming soon. There’s going to be another snowstorm eventually, so I try not to get too excited when we have a great day like this. Yesterday was a pretty day too. Lea and I spent most of it inside. We went to grab lunch, then went to visit with my grandparents (who were in Floriday for four months), and then to the store to buy a shop-vac, dehumidifier and some totes. All for the basement. If you missed my last post, we had some water in our basement from a storm earlier last week. Apparently our sump pump gave out two years after the house was built. It’s insane and frustrating! But enough about that lol I don’t want to get all worked up again.

Once we came home we went through all of our old boxes in the basement and ended up throwing a ton of it out. It was ruined so there was nothing more we could do. We dried up all the water and eventually finished up and started to finally relax. Needless to say, we slept well last night lol! 

Today has been good too. I picked up my grandma for church this morning and I have to say it felt really good to go again. I haven’t been in a while. I don’t know, I’ve just been so busy for a long time and when I’m not busy I’m tired. It’s a whole thing. I’m just happy I went today. It was really nice to be back. After church I came home and did even more cleaning, but I will spare you the details on that boring stuff lol.

I have to say, I’m really excited about this week for two reasons: 1) I get to work from home all week. 2) (And most importantly), baby boy is going to be here at some point this week! We thought we was going to come on Wednesday last week…but nope lol! So, whenever he decides he wants to join us, I will let you all know…eventually…probably not for a while since I’m going to be pretty busy! But yes, of course, I will share the news with all of you. 

Well, that’s been my weekend so far. We will see what the rest of the night has in store. I hope you all have a great weekend and an even better week!
