Lost Civilization’s

Hello, everyone! I have a really interesting post for you all this morning, and I hope you enjoy it. The first topic will be about the new documentary on Netflix, Ancient Apocalypse. The second will be about this Youtube video that has been making its way around the internet. From Twitter all the way to Joe Rogan’s podcast. This man, Jimmy Corsetti believes he has found evidence of the lost city of Atlantis (It’s not where we all thought, apparently). Alright, let’s dive in.

Ancient Apocalypse appeared on Netflix in 2022, but journalist Graham Hancock has been around for a very, very long time. The series follows Hancock as he “travels the globe hunting for evidence of mysterious, lost civilizations dating back to the last Ice Age (Netflix).” I only have two episodes left and it is a mind – blowing series.

A little about Graham Hancock. This information is from his own website (https://grahamhancock.com/bio/) . He started his journalism career in England in the mid – to – late – 1970’s. He then transitioned into an author in the 1980’s. “He has become recognized as an unconventional thinker who raises controversial questions about humanity’s past (grahamhancock.com).”

The thing about that is, it’s not that controversial to have a theory. It’s his own theory and he’s done the research. That is what his books are about (I am assuming. There are so many, and I just learned of him recently so I haven’t had time to read them), and that is what his Netflix series is about – his research. He’s labeled “controversial”, by himself and by the archaeological community, because his theory and research would force the establishment archaeologists to admit they’ve been wrong for years, and we can’t have that apparently. They pulled no punches when his show aired last year. He’s been called things that don’t even make sense by the media, like “racist” and all the usual names the media calls people they’ve been told to discredit (If you read his bio you will see he is indeed, not a racist).

So, that is all the drama and info I found relevant to share about him personally, and now we can move on to what his research and documentary is actually about: lost civilization. Without giving up too much information and spoiling the great series for you all, I will briefly touch on a few episodes and I hope it interests you enough to check it out! Even if his theory is wrong, which it could very well be, it’s always a good idea to have an open mind and think for yourself. *Sidenote: One thing I’ve learned recently is if the media and establishments are calling someone horrible names and trying to discredit them, they are most likely on to something. Just something to think about!

Anyways, let’s briefly discuss a few of these episodes! I’ll be giving the summary of the Netflix bio for the first episode. I know you can go and read them yourself, but I just don’t want to spoil anything and this might be the safest way. The series opens with Graham in Indonesia. To the untrained eye (like me), the site he visits and shows us looks like a bunch of nothing. But after he explains what it is and how it possibly got there, it looks a whole lot like a bunch of SOMETHING. His theory is basically this: there were civilizations that lived a long time ago, that were much more than hunters/gatherers, and were wiped out by a potential cataclysm.

He then visits Mexico, Malta, the United States and many more places. It’s a really great series and I hope you will check it out and just think “what if this guy is right?”. It would be incredible!

Next, we will discuss Jimmy Corsetti. Per the Joe Rogan Experience, he is an independent researcher and he runs the Bright Insight Youtube channel. It explores the mysteries of lost civilizations and where they could be. For example, today we are going to talk about his Atlantis research, and how he states “Astonishing new details have been uncovered involving the Lost Ancient City of Atlantis, and the Eye of The Sahara. These details are so significant that the Richat Structure should without a doubt, be considered the most likely location of the lost capital city of Atlantis (Bright Insight Youtube Chanel).”

That bio pretty much tells you exactly what his theory is, but that’s not even the most interesting part of the twenty – seven minute video. It’s HOW he got to this conclusion that is interesting, and all the things that he thinks backs it up. He cites Plato (the ancient Greek philosopher), reports from news outlets that state “scientists don’t know what caused The Eye of The Sahara”, and claims the Richat Structure should be the eighth wonder of the world. He has much more evidence, but I’d rather you watch the video and hear it from him directly, as I do not want to butcher his information. It’s an incredible video, and his work speaks for itself. I’ve been interested in the city of Atlantis for a while now, so I really enjoyed this video and his interview on The Joe Rogan Experience.

I know we discussed a couple things that seemed “out there” today, but I hope, if you’re interested, that you at least look into these things and see what these people have to say. Like I said, even if they are wrong, these are still such interesting theories. And they are fun to think about. So, please, give them a chance and hear what they have to say! I promise it will be interesting!

I hope you enjoyed this post and have a great day!

Peter
