Today is the day, I think, of a new beginning in our country and possibly, the world. Today, the United States Congress, specifically the Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, and Counterproliferation committee, will hold the first public hearing on the UFO phenomenon in more than 50 years. Exciting stuff!
If you know me, you know that I am interested in things like this. Do I think there are aliens in these UFO’s? I don’t know. But it’s worth investigating. Honestly, I think there’s a strong chance it could be another countries technology, which would be pretty upsetting for the US – especially if it’s a hostile country who has access to this technology that’s greater than anyone has ever seen before.
The government, well the agencies, have been looking into what these things flying around in our airspace could be for years. According to Just The News, “the U.S. Air Force previously investigated UFOs, from 1947-1969, under a then-secret program code-named Project Blue Book. The project examined 12,618 sightings, of which 701 remain “unidentified,” according to the Air Force.”
And that is just one part of our government. I wonder how many agencies we know of, and don’t know of, have been looking into this. I wonder if they do actually know what these things are, and have some of the technology from crash-sites. That would be something worth investigating. However, the most important part of the UFO story is that they mostly hover over our military bases, and that is frightening. Why would they be doing that? If it is a hostile country towards the US, then we need to find out because this cannot continue. It poses a huge risk to national security.
To prove my point, Just The News reports: “Anecdotal reports from U.S. Navy pilots have led some to speculate that UFOs tend to congregate in the vicinity of nuclear aircraft carriers and ballistic missile submarines.” Why would they be doing that? It’s the most important question, in my opinion, that we need answered. Forget all the ET stuff for a minute and focus on what is in front of us. These “things” are flying around our military bases, our nuclear carriers and our submarines. We need to find out why they do this, we need to find out who they are, and we need to put an end to it.
It will definitely be interesting to see what comes from this open hearing. I highly doubt anything of significance will make its way to the public. From what I’ve read, they won’t be focusing on the incredible historical events, but on the current events that have happened. Which is fine, either way we are beginning a new era of UFO research, and it wouldn’t hurt to have the government on our side.

Until next time,
