What the heck is living in my backyard?

I went to cut the grass Friday after work, and found a couple of these holes in my back yard:

I’m not an outdoors guy, never have been, so if any of my readers know, please share what it could be! I’m assuming it’s a good thing the two I found are angled away from my house? lol. I also saw a little baby of whatever animal is living in there towards the front yard, but I’m not sure where it scurried away to. I’m calling a wildlife removal and control service on Monday. I hope it gets figured out early next week.
