Well, my time down there in Florida came to an end of day five.
It was my last day in Florida and I couldn’t wait to be home and see my family! But before I could do that, I had a lot to do before I left.
After I woke up and showered, I immediately started packing (even though our ride to the airport wasn’t coming until 1:45 in the afternoon lol. Hey, better to have it all packed when I don’t have to rush and might forget something right?
Once that was over, my cousin and I went downstairs and ate breakfast. Yes, I ordered the same thing again. I’m a creature of habit. Around 11am we checked out of our room and left our bags with the valet.
With some time to kill, my cousins, aunt and I went back to Maui Nix to pick up a few more gifts for ourselves and other family members back home.
Sadly, after we returned to the hotel, we had to say goodbye to all of our cousins and aunts/uncles, as they were all leaving the hotel and either going home or extending their trips somewhere else. It was so much fun seeing everyone. I had a blast with all my cousins (even though they voted me out when we played survivor).
It was sad saying goodbye and watching everyone leave. Before we knew it, my cousin and I were the last ones at the hotel from the wedding. It felt lonely lol it was like the last episode of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, when Will Smith is just standing in the empty room and everyone left:

The whole weekend we were able to see someone from our family when walking around the hotel, but then it was just us! Lol. We ate some lunch and hung around until our ride came – finally!
I’m happy to announce that once we got to the airport I was able to get through security this time with no issues! Yay me. Then, it was just the usual airport time-wasting activities: we ate some more, played games on our phones, and sat around waiting for our flight.
Hours later I was finally home. It’s nice to be back, and I can’t wait until my boy wakes up so I can see him!
