The Bears draft Caleb Williams & unveil potential new stadium plans

Last night the bears drafted quarterback Caleb Williams with the number one overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

It’s an exciting time to be a Bears fan. Chicago hasn’t had a good football team (not to mention basketball or baseball) for years. Decades even! I’m not mentioning the Cubs winning the World Series 8 years ago (?) because I’m not a Cubs fan and don’t care lol.

But the Bears are back, baby! It’s gonna be a fun ride the next decade watching Caleb Williams lead this team to victory. I know I’m probably overhyping this team but what else can I do? I’m a fan of loser teams and now one of them has a chance to be successful. So please allow me to be excited! lol.

I love this picture from last night. The fans look so excited, and the Packers fans in the background do not look happy. They know the time is coming when the Bears actually give them a challenge and beat them. I cannot wait for that game.

Caleb Williams is very lucky. Never in Bears history has an incoming QB been set up for success like he is. The Bears organization did a great job building a team that’s ready to go for him. That’s going to help him be successful. Gosh it’s going to be so fun to watch.

A few days ago the Bears also unveiled their plans for a new stadium (if they get the funding for it and approvals and all that). All I can say is…wow. It looks incredible.

If this gets approved, I think it’s like four billion dollars, it will be incredible for the city, for the team and for the fans. We have a bright future ahead of us and I cannot wait to share the Bears upcoming successes with my readers!
