Life – podcasting & birthdays

Hello readers. Time for a quick little update.

I’m giving my guests the option of a written interview or a podcast interview. I figured it was time to shake things up a bit and I’m glad I did! As much as I dislike hearing my own voice, it’s fun and it’s new and I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to do it again! I’ve been looking into getting the transcript of the audio so I can also post that for those who would rather read the interview. Still haven’t figured it out yet.

Tomorrow is baby O’s first birthday party. I can’t believe my little guy is one. I also can’t believe how fast a year has gone by. It’s insane. I remember this time last year we were so nervous to be parents and it was so scary when he was born. When we brought him home, he wouldn’t sleep upstairs so we took turns every six hours staying downstairs with him. Me and him watched a ton of movies from 3am to 9am. Looking back it was tiring but really fun. I honestly do miss those days. 

Other than that, there really isn’t anything too exciting going on. The most “exciting” (if you can call it that) thing to happen to me this week is missing my stop on the way home from Chicago lol. I wasn’t paying attention. I was on my phone because more Superman movie news dropped, and I swear the trains speakers or microphone were not working and I did not hear them announce my stop. By the time I noticed the doors were closing and I was running from my seat trying to get out. I did not make it. So, I had to go all the way to the next stop (which wasn’t horrible it was about ten minutes away from my normal stop lol). Thankfully, I have lots of family in the area so one of my aunts came to pick me up and drive me back to my car. It was a long night last night. 

I’m glad it’s over!
