Today is Superman (the character’s) birthday, and we received some exciting news from director and head of DC Studios James Gunn.

He gave us a tease of the suit and confirmed the Alex Ross Kingdom Come art will be the official crest of this Superman.
It looks beautiful. I love it. Absolutely love it. Forgive me for totally fanboying right now but we haven’t had a Superman movie start production in over TEN YEARS. This is so awesome.
Oh, the other news is that he changed the title of the movie. It was Superman: Legacy. Now it’s just Superman. Which is fitting because, as a random Twitter/X user stated “Calling the movie SUPERMAN is sending a clear message that this is a reboot, it’s a new universe and it avoids silly translations in many international markets.” I couldn’t agree more.
So pumped for this movie and I can’t wait until July 2025!
