Hello everyone! It’s the middle of the week and I hope yours is going better than mine so far.
I’m being dramatic, but that’s just how I am sometimes (Lea would say “you mean all the time?”). Yeah, okay whatever, Lea!
Anyways, my week hasn’t actually been that bad. However, there are a few things that upset me this week and I need to vent. Okay, so to start let’s talk about work. Recently I was given a “late shift” position, which was also a remote position. I was so excited because a) I am over commuting into Chicago three times a week and b) I’d have more time and energy to spend with Baby O.
Well, as fate would have it, my employer decided to rid the company of almost all remote positions just a couple weeks after I started mine….lol. I have to laugh otherwise I’d be so ticked off right now. The timing is comical to be honest. So, I am back to my normal three days a week downtown starting next week. It sucks, but it is what it is. Complaining isn’t going to change anything.
Now, let’s move to the Chicago Bulls. My favorite basketball team. Ah, the Bulls….where to start, where to start. Oh, I know! Let’s start with this rumor from Darnell Mayberry, who is a Bulls writer for The Athletic (per his twitter bio). “With a week remaining before the NBA’s trade deadline, few within or around the Chicago Bulls organization anticipate the franchise making a major move. If the Bulls swing a deal before the Feb. 8 deadline, most will be surprised. It’s not that the Bulls can’t make a trade, but there’s a prevailing belief that the front office won’t commit to something substantial.”
These fools are really going to run it back again with the same team. I cannot believe the stupidity in this organization. I mean, I knew they were stupid, I just wasn’t sure how stupid. There’s a box of rocks somewhere that will be a better leader than Arturas Karnisovas. He has failed this team and the fans year after year and yet he continues to do the same thing over and over again. He must be insane, right? Isn’t that the definition?
He needs to be fired immediately. He obviously does not understand what needs to be done here. This little experiment he started is over. It’s done. It’s not going to get better. We need trades and draft capital. We need better management, and different players. As a fan I honestly cannot deal with this anymore. You know, if they at least tried to change some things up, and were still bad, I wouldn’t be this upset. But the fact that they aren’t doing anything at all has me fuming.
This organization is an embarrassment. I really think this weekend is the last game I will go to or watch for a long time. Only because I made these plans with my godfather long ago, so I’m not going to bail now.
Woo, that was nice to blow off some steam. I really do feel better! Lol.
Thank you for tuning in to my little rant tonight. I appreciate it!
