Life – Cars, Vets & Concerts

Good morning, Good afternoon and/or Good evening – depending on where you are lol. A few things have been going on lately and I wanted to share them with you!

If you don’t remember, back in February I told my readers how a deer hit my car while I was driving. It was sad and scary if I’m being honest. It must have come out right after I passed because I did not see it at all. It crashed through the back seat window, right behind the drivers seat. It’s horrifying to think what would have happened if I was a few seconds slower. The poor thing would have come right through my window in the drivers seat and who knows what would have happened then.

Anyways, I have been car-less since February, which means I’ve had to ask Lea for the last two months if I can take her car when I want to leave the house (which was no fun). It was also hard to leave because she has the carseat in her car, and what if she needed to take the baby somewhere? It was just a mess. Well, I’m glad to let you all know that I finally got my car back! I missed her so much. It worked out perfectly since I’ve been off work. Now when I go back I don’t have to worry about how I’m going to get there lol.

On Monday I took Baby Ruth to the vet. She’s our other cat if you did not know. I know I only talk about Winston on here, but that’s because Baby Ruth doesn’t do much lol she’s a lazy cat. So I took her to the vet, and she is 100% healthy! We were worried because she is all fluff and no fat. She is so skinny. The vet said she was very healthy and her blood tests were perfect, so I guess she’s just a skinny cat? She does not like treats either lol so I don’t know what we’re going to do to put some meat on her bones. But it’s okay, as long as she’s healthy!

A few weeks ago I also mentioned receiving a letter in the mail about a debt that I supposedly had. If you missed that post, you can find it here. To summarize, the town I went to college in was charging me for water usage, even though I moved out of that town in 2016! Now, finally, the case has been resolved. And without a hearing! I knew they wouldn’t want to do that lol Anyway, I’m just glad it’s resolved and over with. One less thing to worry about.

Yesterday, baby Oliver turned TWO MONTHS OLD! I can’t believe how fast time is going already. He had his doctor appointment and received some shots (he was not happy!). He now weighs an unbelievably 13 pounds 15 ounces lol. Such a big, chunky boy. Last night he was a little cranky after his shots, which was expected. However, he slept incredibly well and is in a great mood this morning so let’s hope it stays this way!

On Saturday Lea and I are heading to Grand Rapids, Michigan to go to the Kenny Chesney I Go Back tour concert! I’m so excited. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned but I LOVE Kenny Chesney lol his music is great and he is just a really good story teller with a great voice. It will be so much fun. Lea got me tickets for my birthday, and it was the closest one to us. It’s about two and a half hours away, but it’s fine. She has a whole itinerary so we’re looking forward to it! The only thing I have to do before Saturday is go and buy some alcohol lol! Drinks will probably be expensive so it’s best to have some before we go. We’re going to take an Uber/Lyft ride of course. I don’t know if that needs to be said, but I just wanted people to know we weren’t going to drink and drive. Never do that!

So, that’s what is going on in my life at the moment. I’m glad I get to share it with all of you. Have a great day!

Peter
