Easter weekend (again) and the first cut of the year!

Hello readers! I hope everyone’s weekend is going well. Ours is going okay so far. As I said in a recent post, Orthodox Easter is this weekend, so yesterday was our Good Friday. I spend the afternoon at church and it was nice to be back. It’s been difficult lately with the little guy and only having one car at the moment, so I enjoyed my time back there. Tomorrow the whole family is going to my moms for Easter dinner!

Today’s been a tougher one as a parent. It’s one of those days where baby Oliver does not stop crying and screaming. Currently, he is content in his swing – after Lea spent about 2 hours rocking him, feeding him, and changing him. He’s been crabby pants today! But that’s okay it’s all part of life. I spent most of my day outside. It’s been beautiful and our yard needed the first cut of the year. Check it out!

Don’t mind the dead plants lol we haven’t gotten around to tossing them and planting new ones. Ha, I said “we”. I meant *Lea hasn’t gotten around to it. I know she was going to call me out on that. She takes care of the plants. She enjoys it!

The back yard was a pain in the butt to cut today. Last summer I hired a lawn care company to come and do the fertilizing for me, since I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to lawn care, and they’ve been doing a fantastic job. The grass is always so thick that it clogs up my mower sometimes (like today) and I have to keep stopping and re-starting lol. But hey, at least I know I’m getting my money’s worth!

Bulls Talk

Well, if you pay attention to the NBA, you know the Chicago Bulls season ended last night. Just shy of a playoff appearance. They weren’t good enough to make the playoffs, so they made the play – in tournament, where a few teams compete for the last playoff spot. The Bulls one their first play – in game on Wednesday against Toronto. Zach LaVine went off for almost forty points it was incredible. They were down by nineteen points at the half and made that comeback. It was awesome to see. Unfortunately, they got their butts kicked last night against the Miami Heat. So, their season is done, and now we wait and see if management makes any changes for next year. I sure hope so, because the fans are not happy and the team is not going anywhere!

I hope you enjoyed this post and have a great weekend!

Peter
