Hello my dear readers! I wanted to hop on here and talk for a bit. So, here we go!
There hasn’t been too much going on today. Lea and I spent most of the day cleaning (doing the dishes, folding & washing laundry, etc.) to prepare for our tiny Superbowl party tomorrow night. I say tiny because with Lea and I included there will only be about six people in attendance lol!
That’s okay though, we don’t need it getting too crowded around here. I’m once again recovering from a sinus infection. It started last Sunday. You know…the day the deer hit my car and smashed my window. After a miserable two days, I went to the doctor on Wednesday, received a prescription for some meds and now I am starting to get my energy back. I’m not contagious anymore so that’s good. Just in time for the party tomorrow!
I’ll be sure to take some pictures for a future post about how the party was. As for the game itself, I don’t really care. It’s just another excuse to have our friends over and hang out. The Bears aren’t in it so to me, it doesn’t really matter who wins.
So, besides my personal life, there have been a few strange things going on in the U.S. and around the world (meaning Canada & Latin America) that I wanted to talk about because it interests me, and maybe some of you have been reading about this too.
Some of you might have heard about the “Chinese spy balloon” making its way across the United States recently and the military finally shooting it down. Well, it’s interesting to me because a) what kind of data were they looking for? And b) why did it take so long for the U.S. to shoot it down? I get that you have to assess the threat and you don’t want to damage anyone’s property or hurt somebody, but it was over some pretty open spaces multiple times throughout its little journey across the country, so there were many opportunities to take it down.
If that whole circus wasn’t enough, there was apparently a second balloon over Latin America. It’s been reported by Just The News that, according to the Pentagon, it’s a second Chinese balloon. Okay, so there were two of those. We know what they are (if you’re going to trust the government. Topic for another time and place. Won’t discuss here lol), but then there are these two stories that really interest me, and I think it’s obvious why. Per Just The News: U.S. Forces shot down ‘unidentified object’ over Canadian airspace, Trudeau says. Another balloon? If so, why wouldn’t they just say that. This is what interests me. Why wouldn’t they just say it’s another balloon if that’s what it is? And to add to this… U.S. shoots down second unidentified object, over Alaska: Pentagon official. Now they say there was “no affirmative indication of military threat”, but what the heck was it? Are Canada, the US and Latin America being spied on? Is it a hostile country or something else…something…extraterrestrial? Lol
I don’t know. It’s a fun thought, but truth is, none of us will know, because the government won’t tell us. Now, the question is, are they not telling us because of national security reasons? Or maybe because they themselves have no idea what these objects are? It’s just so interesting to me, and something to definitely think about. Something very strange is going on right now, and I have a feeling it could impact not only us over here, but the world. Sorry I don’t mean to sound so dramatic, but it could possibly impact us all. What do you think? Are these two unidentified objects ET, or are they more surveillance drones? Either way, both options are a little frightening. Something to think about!
