Well, after many months this domain is officially mine…again. It’s great to have it back and I’m excited to see where this blog goes this year. I plan on making it one of my top priorities of 2023 (Not the top…I think my readers know who the number one spot goes to lol) and I hope you all stick around for the ride!
Besides officially purchasing this domain, there isn’t a whole lot going on at the moment. Yesterday a friend mine, who I’ve been friends with since freshman year of college, came up to the region from Indianapolis. I took him to the Bulls game and it was a great time! It was my first time driving to Chicago and I have to say…I was a little nervous! However, we went pretty early so there was hardly any traffic. And now that I accomplished that I know I can do it! I mean, I should have known I could do it. I’ve driven everywhere else. From driving five hours up into Michigan last summer to Traverse City, to taking a trip down south to Sevierville, Tennessee (and driving through the mountains :0 ), I should have known I was capable of driving fifty minutes into the city. The congestion of those highways is what’s always made me nervous. Anyways, I can do it now – so woohoo!
We arrived a little early, which was fine since that’s what we planned to do. With my mom being a season – ticket holder, we were able to go onto the court and get our picture taken! It’s something I haven’t done since before covid, and something my friend, Andy, has never been able to do. So it was exciting for both of us! More so for him, but you get what I’m saying.

Along with the excitement of being on the court, the game was AWESOME! The Bulls have been playing so well lately and it makes me so happy. Zach LaVine is finally starting to play like a max – contract player. Recently he’s had 40+ point games, which is incredible in itself, but he also achieved those games by making eleven three pointers in a single game, which is extremely hard to do. Last night he had 36 points, while DeRozan had 35. The Bulls ended winning by about ten points (I think). It was awesome and so much fun! This team is finally scratching the surface of their true potential and I can’t wait to see how they compete the rest of this season and next.
Aside from all the things I mentioned above, the only new thing in my life is going back to the office three days a week, compared to the one day I’ve been used to for so long. I’ll make this short: it sucks! Especially in the winter season. My body is not used to commuting to downtown Chicago anymore, so that will take some time. And waking up around 4:40/5:00am is not ideal, but it’s something we all have to do in order to get a paycheck, so I’m not going to complain to much! (On here at least). One positive thing about going into the office is getting to see my friends and co-workers more often. That’s always fun.
So, yeah…those are my updates! The domain is officially mine once again, the Bulls are playing great, and commuting into downtown Chicago stinks! Lol. I hope you all had a great weekend, and have an even better week ahead.
Thanks for reading!
Peter
