My Favorite Podcasts

Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday. I hope you all have a great weekend. We have some things planned here that I’ll write about tomorrow (most likely). For now, I wanted to talk about podcasts. I’m going to assume most of my readers listen to podcasts and, if not, maybe you’ll enjoy one of these! Having a podcast on is a great way to make it through your day. They’re interesting, entertaining, and can be educational. So, here are four of my favorite shows that I listen to on a weekly basis:

Remember, just like my Christmas movie list, these are in no specific order.

The first (and one of my favorites) is Jim Harold’s Campfire. This show is great, especially if you’re into the paranormal. Whether it’s ghosts/hauntings, aliens, shadow people, angels and whatever else you can think of – you’ll find it here. These are stories from real people who call in who have had real experiences. Of course, some of them could be making things up, that’s always something to take into consideration, but even if they are, they’re great story tellers! I personally believe that they aren’t. You can tell when someone is being sincere and most of the time I believe these callers are. So give it a try and see what you think! It’s always an interesting show.

Next, I’ll go with something a little similar. This show is called Touched by Heaven – Everyday encounters with God. It’s hosted by Trapper Jack. It’s similar to the campfire because real people call in and talk about the experiences they’ve had with God and with angels and miracles that have happened their lives. Most of these stories are so beautiful! “The Touched by Heaven podcast shares encounters with angels, divine interventions, visions, near-death experiences, and God – incidents for fortify the faithful and awaken the fallen away (per the description of the show in apple podcasts).” It’s a really great show to remind you how powerful, awesome, and loving God is.

These next two might just be interesting to me because I’m a fan, but I really enjoy the Bulls Talk Podcast and Superman Homepage. I think the names themselves explain very well what the shows are about lol! One talks about what’s going on with the Chicago Bulls organization and team, the other gives all the latest news on dorky stuff like Superman movies, shows, comics, etc. I love them both!

Honorable mentions:

I wanted to include some that I listen to, but not too often. Shows that I still love but have either ended (and still have their archive up) or that I listen to every once in a while. Here they are:

Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell is a classic. You won’t find someone with a better radio voice. His show was about everything. From paranormal, to aliens, to politics and religion. Art spoke about whatever he wanted and had one some the most interesting guests and callers.

The Conspiracy Show with Richard Syrett. This show just recently ended. It was a radio show, but after about 13 years (I think) he called it quits and is spending more time with his family. He still creates podcasts with the same material, so you can still find him wherever. This show was great. Like Art Bell and Jim Harold, he had on guests and/or callers to talk about the most interesting topics. Whether is the JFK assassination, aliens (again), past – lives, or world viruses, he spoke about it all. It’s always so interesting to hear people explain their research – their life work. Some of it is so out – there that I have a hard time believing them, but it’s still interesting. It’s a fun show. That’s how I’ll explain it. It’s a very fun show. His episodes are still on apple podcasts if you’re interested.

Two Cool Moms with Joe Gatto and Steve Byrne. I know, those are both men, but its a funny show. They are comedians and good friends. They answer questions from their listeners, give advice, and always have a good time. If you’re looking for something lighthearted, here you go! Some of you may know Joe from Impractical Jokers – he was my favorite! He has now moved on to podcasting and spending more time with his family. The show is great and they’re both pretty funny. If you want something to make you laugh then try this show out!

Well, these are all the shows I enjoy. Try them out and let me know what you think! Or if you already listen to some of them, let me know. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
