A Day in the life of Winston the Cat (Part 3)

For some reason, these posts about our cat Winston are my most popular lol! So here is part 3 of my Day in the Life series about Mr. Winston. I think the last time I wrote about him I informed you that he had been fixed. You’ll be happy to read that he healed VERY quickly, and is back to his obnoxious-kitten-self.

Winston the cat is back to normal, there is no doubt about that. After his snip-snap procedure, he is back to annoying his sister, and Lea and I in the middle of the night. I love him though, so it’s okay!

Recently, he has absolutely loved cuddling. Every night (and sometimes throughout the day) he will randomly find one of us to cuddle (mostly me 🙂 ). He even loves Winston sandwiches! You maybe wondering what that is…let me show you:

Behold, a Winston sandwich! Don’t mind my hair, it was bedtime. He loves this. He was purring so loud! On the other hand, his sister, Baby Ruth, is not a fan…

Notice how her ears are back, and her paw is hanging over my arm like that? Yeah…that’s her trying to get away! lol. She isn’t one for overbearing cuddles, but that’s okay.

Anyways, back to Mr. Winston. So yes, he LOVES cuddling. He also still loves watching TV. He will usually jump onto the tv stand and stare at whatever we are watching for 3-5 minutes. He will then take a break, and eventually come back. He’s fascinated by the tv, it’s so cute. He also loves watching sports, but we can assume that is because he likes watching the basketball or soccer ball move across the screen. The amount of times I’ve had to yell at him for smacking the screen…

He is still obsessed with playing fetch. It’s a nightly routine. His other nightly routine is climbing to the top of our bed frame and jumping off. Often without any consideration for Lea and I. A couple days before Thanksgiving he jumped off of the bed frame right onto my forehead and left a huge scratch. It hurt, it bled, and it stayed there all throughout the holiday weekend! lol. I thought I saved the picture but I did not. I was mad at first, but how can I stay mad at him? He’s adorable.

So, this is the day in the life of Winston the cat. He fetches, he cuddles, and he gets the zoomies.

OH! I can’t remember if I shared these two pictures before, but I will leave them as a gift to you for reading this far…Enjoy!!!

Have a great day!

Peter
