It’s been a long week. Work has been pretty busy so I’m very excited its the weekend! And to make it even better, the Bulls play tonight. Don’t worry, this isn’t another Chicago Bulls post. It’s going to be a “let me tell you what I am doing tonight” kind of post. So, if you’re interested, enjoy!
So this morning our kitten Winston (as some of you know) went to the vet to get fixed. My poor baby boy had to get the snip.

That scene from The Office was the first thing I thought of when my wife was taking him in. He’s doing alright…for the most part. He has to wear the “cone of shame”, but it’s not going too well. He already figured out how to take it off so this next week will be a struggle lol! But overall I think he will be okay.

Look what they did to my poor kitten! I know we had to get this done, but it still makes me feel bad!
Currently, he is upstairs with Lea. She moved the mattress from our pullout couch into our spare room so she can be in there with him all weekend to keep him company and to make sure he doesn’t get out of his cone again. I would have volunteered to be in there with him but she offered first! 😉
While they’ve been up there I ordered door dash. I ordered two Chicago-style hot dogs from Corky’s Dogg House in Cedar Lake, IN. This place is DELICIOUS! If you don’t know, a Chicago dog is topped with mustard, relish, onion, pickle, tomato, peppers, cucumber and celery salt. I usually get it with the poppy bun as well. I take off the peppers though, I don’t do spicy food! I know, I know, I’m weak, but that’s just how I am when it comes to food.

I’m telling you, if you’re ever in “The Region” (aka Northwest Indiana) and you want a hot dog, you gotta stop here. I mean, just look at these:

They were great, but sadly, I ate them too quickly. The only other thing I have planned for tonight is to fold laundry. I know, you’re all jealous of my Friday night!
Well, I should get going – the game is starting and the wife is calling – have a good night!
Peter
