Well, I’m Not Really Spoiling This…Am I?

Well, I’m not really spoiling this…am I? It’s been all over the internet and social media, and I even wrote about the possibility of it in one of my recent posts. If the footage that has been going around is real…then consider me a happy DC fan. It’s been going around, lots of comic outlets and movie outlets are reporting it, so I will just say it: It seems as if Henry Cavill’s Superman does make an appearance in Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam movie and, not just that, but it look like he is getting another Superman movie as well!

It’s a good time to be a DC comics fan. Per comicbook.com , “On Monday, The Hollywood Reporter  published a new piece about the state of DC films at Warner Bros. with the exit of Walter Hamada looming. A lot of different projects and characters are at play, but bringing back Cavill for another Superman movie seems to be at the top of the list for Warner Bros. executives.”

The Rock has also recently said that the only reason Cavill’s Superman was being held up was because the old studio heads, who are thankfully exiting and hopefully never come back to WB, did not want Henry back as Superman, which is the exact opposite of what the majority of fans wanted. To say I am thrilled is an understatement. It will be interesting to see what storyline they go with, who the villain will be, and how the writers will be. I hope we get a new and refreshing superman story in this new film. I’m tired of the same old origin story with Lex Luthor and/or General Zod vs. Superman movie. Give me Lobo or Brainiac. That would be awesome.

There are so many different story lines in the comics that are so incredible. WB/DC should not have any trouble finding one to go off of. It’s an exciting time to be a DC Comics fan. I can’t wait to see Black Adam on Sunday!
