Date Night in the region!

It’s been really busy around here lately. I was gone for four days for a bachelor party up in Traverse City, Michigan. Followed by being away from my home and my wife for another week because I was dog-sitting for my mom while she was away. Needless to say, I’m exhausted.

Yesterday I was finally able to come back home and it was wonderful. Lea and I made reservations at The Lighthouse restaurant out here in Cedar Lake, IN, and it was beautiful. They have outdoor seating right on the water, no reservations needed. Just walk up and grab a seat on the couch or beach chairs and watch the sunset with a drink in your hand as live music plays. It was so relaxing.

Finally, we were seated inside. Soon after, our steaks finally came and I can speak for both of us when I say we were happy with how they turned out! It was a great night with my wife, and I can’t wait for our next date.
