The Region Get’s Praised by the Governor

Northwest Indiana (aka The Region) is a great place to live. I may seem a little biased, given the name of my site and actually living here, but you don’t have to live here to understand how awesome it is. The Governor of Indiana, Eric Holcomb, praised the region in a recent interview he did with the NWI Times.

Per the NWI Times: ““Boy, the Region is moving in the right direction,” Holcomb said. “This is a target-rich environment for global transformations that are occurring.” Per Dan Carden, the author of the piece, Governor Holcomb went on to say “ongoing investments in the skills of its people and the quality of its places have put Northwest Indiana at the top of many lists for where businesses should expand or relocate…..It’s exciting to see the transformation and ‘renaissance’ would not be an overstatement, or an exaggeration, of what I’ve been able to be privileged to kind of see develop through somewhat of a unique lens”

If you want to see everything the governor said, you can find the article here: https://www.nwitimes.com/business/jobs-and-employment/governor-the-region-is-moving-in-the-right-direction/article_edc84c76-1e35-5f76-877c-93373258c1e0.html

The region is such a great place to live. It’s filled with so many kind and hardworking people, all with very different backgrounds. In my opinion, that’s what makes this area so unique. Everyone has a different story to tell, and that is why I started this blog, to get those incredible stories out there.

Besides meeting the great people, there’s actually more to do here than one would expect. You can visit Centennial Park in Munster to sit by the water, golf, or to just take a stroll. You can walk around The Square in Crown Point and visit all their shops and restaurants. Or you can come out to Cedar Lake, where I currently reside, and enjoy the big, beautiful lake and all the fun that comes with that.

There’s tons to do around here, you just have to give it a chance! I love the region, and I’m proud to live here. Thank you to the governor for the kind words.

P.S. Would it hurt for you to answer one of my emails?! (Kidding)

Have a great weekend!

Peter
